Day to day as a Systems Engineer - Senior Level As a Senior Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a pivotal role in guiding engineering teams through a multi-disciplinary approach to crucial tasks like requirements engineering and solutions development specifically for the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG) and Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG). Your responsibilities will include overseeing Mid-level and Junior engineers in the planning and analysis of user requirements, ensuring traceability, and streamlining existing systems. Additionally, you will assist in translating customer needs into actionable systems and capability requirements while supporting the integration of various systems and services across federal agencies. You'll conduct detailed analyses, including Alternatives and Course of Actions, while providing strategic technical planning and risk management.
Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex systems integration projects, enhancing the overall performance and reliability of geospatial intelligence operations.

Required Skills and Experience:
TS/SCI active clearance.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
Senior-level or higher experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
Experience with and understanding of systems engineering.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and
Working knowledge of Digital Engineering, processes, and
Working knowledge of Software Development
INCOSE Certified Systems engineering Professional (CSEP)
Documented work experience in the field of geospatial
Licensure as a professional
Membership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations:
ACSM
ASCE
ASPRS
OGC
SAREM
USGIF
Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO.
Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
