Employees can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the U.S., or a hybrid of these options. Please note that we do not sponsor U.S. work authorization for this role. Candidates must be able to legally work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Position Overview:
The Prospect Development Analyst conducts advanced research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to identify potential philanthropic partners aligned with PIH's goals. They work closely with the Prospect Research team and report to the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Research. Responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and interpret biographical and financial data to produce reports informing leadership decision-making, including wealth estimates and capacity ratings. Manage and lead prospect identification projects for Major Gifts, Principal Gifts, and Leadership Giving teams using complex data analysis tools. Utilize prospecting tools to analyze targeted groups and maintain prospect channels and portfolios. Develop collaborative relationships across teams, manage special projects, and deliver training on prospect development and data management in Salesforce. Maintain governance and tracking for the Governance and Nominating Committee in collaboration with the Board Engagement Team. Ensure constituent data accuracy and compliance with professional standards set by APRA. Support the larger PIH Development Team and contribute to prospect research efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of prospect research experience or relevant transferable experience. Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in database management, online research, and Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and interpret financial data from various sources. Excellent project management skills and interest in social justice. Starting salary is $75,000-$80,000/year, with a range of $70,000-$85,000. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, health insurance, paid time off, and holidays.
