Provide system administration support for Linux operating systems, including installing software, applying patches, managing file systems, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting alerts. Analyze and resolve problems related to operating systems, servers, hardware, and software; perform system failure analysis and recovery. Manage hardware configurations, shell programming, and standard procedures, working under general supervision. Monitor interface programs between enterprise systems, review logs, and ensure successful operations. Perform backups, patching, and ensure compliance with DoD Linux Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Provide performance metrics, maintain documentation, and perform system security administration functions. Implement and maintain servers using Ansible and ensure security compliance with STIGs. Qualifications
8+ years of related experience managing RHEL Linux servers. Proficiency in Linux administration, enterprise network architectures, and automation tools like Ansible. Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar. Understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP protocols, and security standards. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
