The Table Games Dealer Trainee Program at MGM Springfield offers a valuable opportunity to learn dealer gaming skills from a leading entertainment and gaming company, with the potential for a future position as a Table Games Dealer. Trainees will focus on mastering the art of dealing games while providing exceptional guest service, all while adhering to relevant legal regulations and company policies. Starting October 6th, 2025, the 10-week program will run Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM. You will learn three table games: Blackjack, Baccarat, and Carnival. The starting rate is $15.00 per hour. The day-to-day responsibilities include: Perform act of dealing several game types; including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, and Specialty Games (Poker). Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchanges cash or markers for chips. Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on the game. Notify supervisor immediately of all mistakes or claims and make resolution only at the direction of the supervisor. Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results, or any other information as required in the procedures of each game. The ideal candidate: Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. Ability to pass a basic math test. Ability to attend all training classes. If placed into a Dealer role, ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts. The perks and benefits include: Free meals in our employee dining room.
