Reporting to the Head of Storage, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring SLAs for the ECS platform are met, including operational tasks, provisioning, and capacity management. The individual oversees product engineering activities for all Storage Services initiatives, including RTB, CTB, and externally funded CTB for storage technologies. The Storage ECS Lead interfaces with the xxx and implements standardized solutions to meet the growing demand for flexible and reliable storage platforms. Responsibilities include delivering ECS Storage platform requests, CAS, S3, and NFS exports, with potential expansion into Swift, Atmos, and HDFS. This environment requires attention to detail, strong leadership, technical skills, business process understanding, urgency, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to customer experience. Role Responsibilities
Support and provision ECS product, matching application requirements to infrastructure products. Support global rollout of the immutable storage cloud platform with low-cost CAS, S3, and NFS storage. Manage ECS storage capacity, ensuring thresholds are not breached. Maintain system integrity, stability, and performance through proactive administration. Carry out storage array upgrades per standards. Raise incidents, change tickets, and participate in management meetings. Assist with software implementation and participate in DR/BCP drills. Coordinate with remote teams across APAC/UK/EMEA to ensure uniform implementation. Experience Required
Experience with DellEMC ECS platform, especially CAS, S3, and NFS protocols. Knowledge of enterprise process mapping tools and frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF, LEAN Six Sigma. Exposure to various Operating Systems. Good communication and escalation skills; ability to work in a support rota. Strong interpersonal skills and personal organization. General Job Description
Provide Enterprise SAN Storage services. At least 6 years of relevant experience with EMC VMAX, VNX, VNXe, Centera, HPE(DXC) 3PAR, Pure Storage, Cisco MDS, Brocade SAN Switches. Higher Level Diploma required; experience in investment banking infrastructure preferred. Monitor SAN and Storage systems. Perform system upgrades per standards. Seniority level
