IT AUDITOR (CYBER) | LARGE PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM | $60-$70 PER HOUR (W2) | DURATION - 8+ MONTHS | DETROIT (HYBRID) Client: Large Public Accounting Firm (NOT KPMG) Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid onsite) Position: Sr Associate (IT Audit) Pay: $65-$70 per hour (W2) + 1.5x overtime Duration: 8+ Months Cyber Risk Senior Associate We're seeking a Cyber Risk Senior Associate to join a dynamic and fast-growing cybersecurity team. This role focuses on helping organizations assess, enhance, and manage their cybersecurity posture by delivering risk assessments, control testing, and advisory services. Key Responsibilities Conduct cybersecurity control testing and evaluate program maturity against industry frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001). Support cybersecurity audits and compliance reviews aligned with regulatory and organizational standards. Perform cyber risk and threat assessments, and assist in developing remediation strategies. Provide recommendations and roadmaps to enhance cybersecurity capabilities. Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and present findings. Stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in consulting or a client-facing role. Experience in risk assessments, cybersecurity program evaluations, security control testing, cybersecurity audits, and regulatory compliance. Implementation of frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls. Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as needed.
