Your Role as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator:
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will be vital in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the unit. You will coordinate all functions during your shift, working collaboratively with management and nursing staff to foster an environment of teamwork and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate admissions and discharges to enhance patient care and streamline processes.
- Continuously assess and improve the quality of nursing care in your unit.
- Encourage teamwork and service recovery to create an optimal patient experience.
- Assist in staffing processes, including interviewing, training, and scheduling to meet patient care needs.
- Monitor inventory and manage supply use effectively.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
