Seeking a qualified full and part-time Medical Biller/Coder. Must be efficient, accurate, hardworking, and a team player. Responsibilities include verifying insurance, filing claims, payment posting, credentialing, and handling appeals/denials. Check practitioners' codes for accuracy, collaborate with an outsourced medical billing company, and follow up with insurance companies regarding denials and payments. Partner with the Clinic Manager to follow up on patients' insurance eligibility, co-pays, referrals, and authorizations. Requires at least 3 years of medical billing experience (including charge capture, claims handling, payment posting, and claims disputes) and certification as a coder.
