Job Title: QE Lead API Testing & Automation
Location: Englewood, NJ (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Experience: 10 - 16 Years
Job Overview:
We are seeking a QE Lead API Testing & Automation to join our team in Englewood, NJ . This hybrid role (3 days in office) requires expertise in API testing and automation for web applications . The ideal candidate will drive quality engineering efforts , ensuring robust and scalable test automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts across web and API projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, etc.).
- Conduct manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger .
- Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for stability and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts with Selenium, REST Assured, and Java .
- Align test automation with Agile methodologies and in-sprint automation.
- Debug test failures and troubleshoot using GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins .
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience in API testing & automation (Web + API) .
Strong hands-on experience with Swagger, Postman, Selenium .
Proficiency in Java, TestNG, and REST Assured .
Experience with API automation frameworks .
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines .
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with performance testing (JMeter) .
Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD processes .
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with engineering and business teams .
Leadership and mentoring experience.
