The QA team is responsible for testing computer systems and applications, including design, coding, testing, and deployment to meet TNS' product goals. Responsibilities
Develop and execute test strategies for telephony network applications and infrastructure. Maintain automated regression test suites. Collaborate with the scrum team in an agile environment. Ensure smooth software deployments by working with operations. Work independently with minimal supervision. Utilize judgment to plan and achieve goals. Write or modify scripts in Python or Linux to automate tests and analyze data. Create test plans and defect reports following team standards. Experience Required
3+ years of experience developing and automating test cases. Minimum 3 years testing UNIX/Linux client-server applications, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance testing. Experience with signaling protocols like SIP, REST API, and ENUM. Ability to analyze memory and CPU utilization for optimization. Proficiency in Linux shell and Python scripting. Knowledge of version control tools such as GIT Lab. Ability to create detailed test plans and reports. Strong understanding of testing processes and estimating task durations. Excellent communication skills. Qualifications
Preferred: Experience in VoIP within telecommunications. Familiarity with protocol testing tools like SIPP, curl, dig, JMeter. Knowledge of build tools such as Jenkins. Experience with code coverage tools. Proficiency in JIRA or similar tools. Salary range: $99,000 - $121,000 annually.
