We are seeking a skilled General Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 16-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Sep 1, 2025. Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as First Assistant in various surgical procedures.
- Participate in a broad range of cases including General Surgery, OBGYN, and Orthopedics.
- Ensure all operations conform to established surgical techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other medical professionals to provide top-tier patient care.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
Additional Information
- Board certification in General Surgery required.
- Must have an active New York license.
- Recent experience with the Epic EMR system necessary.
- Trauma experience, especially at a trauma center, is essential.
- Robotics experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Certifications Needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS).
