Start Date:
August 17, 2025 Shift Requirements:
Night shift (3x12-hour shifts, 18:30-07:00) Every other weekend requirement
No call required
Must be willing to float as needed
Minimum Qualifications: 1 year recent MS/Tele experience (first-time travelers accepted) Active RN license (compact or Tennessee) BLS certification (AHA required) Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Preferred: Epic EMR experience
Patient Care Responsibilities:
Manage 6-7 adult patients per shift (ortho/neuro/trauma post-op) Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Post-surgical care including:
Orthopedic/total joint patients
Neuro surgical patients
Trauma patients
Wound care/wound vac management
Chest tube/PICC line management
Medication administration (heparin, insulin, PCA) Unit Details: 34-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:6 (consistent days/nights/weekends) Common diagnoses:
Post-operative orthopedic cases
Spinal surgeries
Trauma recoveries
Support services available:
Physical therapy
Respiratory therapy
Rapid response team
Radius rule: 100 miles from facility
