Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Marysville, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality, specialized care to patients with severe cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, documenting any changes in their health status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
