Travel CCU Registered Nurse
to join a respected healthcare facility in
Pittsfield, Massachusetts . This 13-week contract is perfect for critical care nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and are open to occasional floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Job Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients Monitor and interpret vital signs, manage life-support equipment, and administer critical medications Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans Float to the PCU as needed to support patient volume and acuity needs Accurately document patient information in the EMR system Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
Education & Certification Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or compact state – required Minimum 1 year of CCU experience – required BLS and ACLS (AHA) – required Critical Care RN Certification (CCRN) – preferred Prior experience in PCU/step-down – preferred
