Travel RN - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) - Albany, NY

Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (12.5-Hour Shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend; rotating holidays

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Albany, NY . This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity post-anesthesia setting within a well-established healthcare system.

Position Summary:

As a PACU RN, you'll be responsible for post-operative patient care immediately following surgical procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and management of recovery from anesthesia.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia

• Manage pain and administer medications per protocol

• Document accurately in Epic EMR

• Communicate with surgical teams and family members

• Prepare patients for discharge or transfer

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience

• Epic EMR experience required

• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)

• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Contract Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: Full-time (36-40 hours/week)

• Shift Type: Days into Nights (12:00 PM - 12:30 AM)

• Length: 13 weeks
