Travel RN - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) - Albany, NY
Start Date: August 25
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (12.5-Hour Shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend; rotating holidays
Location: Albany, NY
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Albany, NY . This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity post-anesthesia setting within a well-established healthcare system.
Position Summary:
As a PACU RN, you'll be responsible for post-operative patient care immediately following surgical procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and management of recovery from anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia
* Manage pain and administer medications per protocol
* Document accurately in Epic EMR
* Communicate with surgical teams and family members
* Prepare patients for discharge or transfer
Requirements:
* Active NY RN License
* Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
* Epic EMR experience required
* BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
* Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
Contract Details:
* Guaranteed Hours: Full-time (36-40 hours/week)
* Shift Type: Days into Nights (12:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
* Length: 13 weeks
