We are seeking a highly skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during the post-anesthetic recovery process.
Responsibilities
As a PACU RN, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care and support during the post-anesthetic recovery process
- Assessing patient conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS certification required or within 2 weeks of hire date
- ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date
- Previous experience in PACU, ambulatory care, critical care, or general nursing is preferred
