Job Description Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 3 Years Experience Required License: Valid License Required Certifications: RRT, NRP, BLS
Must-Have: Must have adult and NICU experience. Must have skills in airway management, vent management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, and high-risk deliveries. Experience in a community hospital, emergency room, adult ICU, and NICU is required.
Description: Looking for a Respiratory Therapist for the NICU.
The candidate must have a valid respiratory therapy license.
The position requires certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
The Respiratory Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to neonatal patients.
Daily responsibilities will include managing ventilators and administering respiratory treatments.
The position does not require weekend work or on-call duties.
Candidates will not float and are expected to remain in their designated unit.
Experience with specific equipment and procedures related to NICU respiratory care is essential.
