We are currently seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Internal Medicine Physician to join our team and help shape the future of healthcare in our community. Why Join Tryon?

- Manage a patient panel of 18–22 patients per day (after an initial ramp-up period)
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care in an outpatient setting
- Independently diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies to treat illness and prevent disease
- Communicate clearly with patients and their families about care plans, test results, and treatment options
- Provide preventative health education and wellness advice related to nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, and lifestyle
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records in the EMR system (Athena)
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary
- Support and manage patients with long-term care needs
- Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure integrated, team-based care
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
- Current and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain one in North Carolina
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong alignment with integrated, team-based care models
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR platforms (Athena experience preferred)
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
- Medicare provider number
- 3–7 years of clinical experience preferred
- Up to 6 weeks of paid time off annually (prorated for part-time), plus 6 major holidays + 1 float holiday
