Job Description
Are you a skilled Reporting Analyst looking to make an impact in a collaborative environment? URUS is hiring for a hybrid role in the Madison, WI area, where you'll help shape business decisions by developing and enhancing critical SSRS reporting solutions. If you're passionate about clean code, efficient databases, and working closely with a supportive team, we encourage you to apply!
The Reporting Analyst will work closely with a collaborative team to support, enhance, and develop SSRS reporting solutions and associated databases. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data-driven insights are delivered accurately and efficiently across the organization.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with SSRS report development, including deployment best practices. Proficient in SQL Server programming (stored procedures, views, tables, indexes). Familiarity with source control using Visual Studio Team Services (Azure DevOps). Experience with MS Access, VBA, and Visual Basic. Working knowledge of ASP.Net. Background in application development utilizing back-end databases in multi-tiered architectures. Ability to partner effectively with end-users and cross-functional team members. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to produce clear technical and business documentation. Proven success in managing conflicting priorities with a proactive, solution-focused approach. Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server development. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning through training and certifications. 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
