Oculus Studios Central Technology is a pivotal team within Oculus Studios focused on enhancing shared technologies and supporting First Party Oculus Studios such as Armature Studios, Beat Games, BigBox VR, Camouflaj, Sanzaru Games, Twisted Pixel, Supernatural, and OURO in their quest to create engaging content. We are seeking passionate engineers eager to collaborate with Oculus Studios in crafting immersive experiences. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Oculus Studios Technical Director to set priorities and technology objectives for multi-year projects. Thrive in a dynamic development landscape by implementing reliable systems that our first-party developers can depend on. Build and sustain relationships with Oculus partners, acting as a technical representative for developer integration with other teams. Work across various development environments, including but not limited to C++, C#, Python, Hack, JavaScript, Unity, Unreal Engine, Visual Studios, and Rider. Promote technical learning among the Oculus Studios through effective documentation, demo materials, code examples, and advocacy. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in acquiring new approaches, coding languages, and Meta-specific solutions. 5+ years in immersive media or game development. 5+ years of development experience in Unreal, Unity, or native engines. Expertise in C/C++/C# programming within the realm of 3D entertainment or games. A comprehensive understanding of games and game development, alongside enterprise-scale infrastructure. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members in product realization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Full-Stack developer in a large-scale distributed environment. 8+ years in developing and maintaining gaming and/or enterprise infrastructure. Exposure to major cloud services, including AWS and Azure. A track record of shipping AAA titles or large enterprise solutions. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering. Experience working with distributed computing platforms. Proficient in building supportable solutions that feature proactive alerting, monitoring, and product metrics. Expertise in creating user-facing tools using languages such as Hack, JavaScript, React, etc. Familiarity with General Frameworks like GraphQL, Graph API, and Ent Framework. Compensation:
