Position Title: ISD - Oracle Application Server Admin
Location: Downey, CA, 90242
Job Description:
Skills
• possess knowledge supporting applications using Oracle WebLogic
• possess knowledge supporting applications using Oracle Fusion Middleware including Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), Oracle Application Express, ORDS, etc
• possess knowledge and technical expertise in Cloud administration, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Azure, AWS
• having knowledge and skills on Docker/container/Kubernetes
• ability to develop and maintain jobs on operations automation
• ability to develop and maintain scripts on Linux/Unix Shell scripting and Windows PowerShell scripting
• knowledge and expertise supporting Talend, Tableau server
• familiarity and working knowledge on computer network understanding and skills
• familiarity and working knowledge on security such as vulnerabilities scan, patching, antivirus.
Experience 1. Three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic Application Server and Tomcat. 2. Three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Fusion Middleware, such as Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Application Express, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, Oracle HTTP Server, ORDS, etc. 3. Two (2) years of experience in the last five (5) years working on cloud environment, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, including provisioning VM, performing regular backup, setting up load balancer, configuring security rules/policies, etc; 4. Two (2) years of experience in the last four (4) years working on operations automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins; 5. Two (2) years of experience in the last four (4) years working on docker, containers and Kubernetes. 6. Two (2) years of experience in the last four (4) years working on Talend, Tableau server administration. 7. Two (2) years of experience in the last four (4) years working on Linux/Unix Shell scripting and Windows PowerShell scripting.
Education This classification requires the possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
dditional Information Preferably Local candidates Only - LA or Orange County. This will be a hybrid work schedule with 2 days onsite and candidate will need to be flexible for in office meetings or work groups. Remote work may be considered based on business needs
