Are you a hands-on professional with experience installing windows and glass? We're hiring a
Commercial and Residential Glass Window Installation Service Technician
in
Sidney, OH
to handle a wide range of glass installation and repair projects. From home window replacements to commercial storefronts, your craftsmanship and service skills will shine!
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and replace
glass windows, doors, storefront systems, mirrors, and insulated glass units Read and interpret
blueprints , schematics, and specifications for correct measurements and installation procedures Measure, cut, and shape
glass and framing materials
accurately Apply
glazing compounds, adhesives, caulking, and sealants
with precision Operate
hand and power tools
safely, including drills, grinders, and glass cutters Handle glass and materials to prevent damage or breakage during transport and installation Work at heights using
ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
in compliance with safety protocols Communicate professionally with customers and team members Perform local travel for job site installations and emergency repairs
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of glass or window installation experience
(commercial and/or residential). Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours depending on project needs and travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with
aluminum storefront systems, tempered glass, and insulated units Background in
construction, glazing, or carpentry Knowledge of
OSHA safety standards
and fall protection practices OSHA 10 certification
or equivalent is a plus
