Overview
The Marching Band Assistant's primary responsibilities are the instruction of the sideline percussion section and assisting with the instruction of the battery percussion section. The person in this position also writes the sideline percussion music for the competition field show. This person will, at times, work with the entire music ensemble, and occasionally assist with teaching marching during rehearsals.
The Marching Band Assistant will also assist in teaching the football game halftime show during band camp in August.
Hours: 105
Rate: $35.27 per hour (status quo pending contract negotiations)
