Community & Content Coordinator
Location: Metro Detroit (Hybrid Field-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $45,000$50,000/year + PTO + Health, Vision & Dental

The OpportunityWere looking for a Community & Content Coordinator to support and grow our brand presence both online and in person.
Youll help manage social content, engage with VIPs and loyal customers, assist with branded events, and represent the energy and values of our company across platforms and in the field. This role is perfect for someone whos creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about building authentic connections.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media and Content
- Assist with weekly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Capture engaging content at estate sales, auctions, and events
- Publish regular posts, stories, and short-form videos including promotions, testimonials, and educational content
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth
Client Testimonials and Storytelling
- Interview recent clients and customers for video and written testimonials
- Maintain an organized testimonial library
- Share one impactful story with the internal team each week
Community Event Planning
- Support planning and execution of community events such as realtor mixers, estate sale previews, appreciation nights, and workshops
- Coordinate invites, logistics, and vendor communication
- Assist with event hosting and on-site content capture
- Follow up with guests for continued engagement and reviews
On-Site Engagement and Customer Experience
- Attend estate sales regularly to greet customers and gather feedback
- Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Respond to customer questions and concerns calmly and clearly
- Log feedback and help identify common issues or opportunities
VIP and Early Access Program
- Maintain and update a VIP customer list in the CRM
- Send early previews, invitations, and thank-you messages
- Track interactions and loyalty trends among high-value clients
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to align messaging
- Provide weekly reports on social performance, testimonials, and community engagement
- Share observations and insights from the community with the broader team
- Number of posts, stories, and reels published weekly
- Growth in engagement and social followers
- Testimonials collected and shared
- Event execution and guest turnout
- Positive reviews and feedback submitted
- Customer concerns resolved effectively
- Leads or referrals generated from community activity
- 25 years of experience in social media, community coordination, events, or customer service
- Strong skills in short-form video creation (especially Reels and TikTok)
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar tools
- Comfortable on camera and in interactive roles with clients and customers
- Great communicator who handles feedback and concerns with professionalism
- Organized, proactive, and positive attitude
- Bonus: Experience working with VIP programs, event planning, or brand ambassador initiatives
- Salary Range: $45,000$50,000 per year, based on experience
