Virginia Military Institute Athletics, an NCAA Division I member and member of the Southern Conference is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will: Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Wrestling Program. Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes. Coordinate team travel arrangements. Design and implement training programs focused on athlete development, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student-athlete academic progress and personal development. Perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Ensure compliance with VMI, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree as well as coaching experience. Must possess a valid drivers license. Demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing student-athletes. Proven track record in recruiting and retaining quality student-athletes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with staff and administrators.
