We are seeking a highly skilled Procedural Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This individual will assist the Interventional Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Cath Lab Specific: The technologist must be competent in assisting the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Arrhythmia (EP) Specific: The technologist must be competent in assisting the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific: The technologist must be competent in assisting the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures. Neuro Interventional Specific: The technologist must be competent in assisting the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include: 85%: Assisting the Interventionalist in specific areas such as Cath Lab, Arrhythmia, Vascular Interventional, and Neuro Interventional. 10%: Greeting patients, checking charts, reporting absences or abnormalities, explaining procedures, giving instructions, and answering patients' questions. 5%: Assisting the Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel, performing tasks using radiation safety principles, and maintaining accurate records. Required skills and qualifications include: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association LIC - Licensed in Field license in the State of Ohio We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment.
