Executive Recruiter - Accounting and Finance at Advice Personnel
A high-growth, VC-backed AI start-up is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The company has raised 200M+ in funding from high-profile investors and is gearing up for their next phase of growth. This newly created role offers exposure across both strategic finance and FP&A. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this person will be involved in all facets of the finance function, including capital raising efforts and key growth initiatives. The position is hybrid, with two in-office days per week in their NYC office. Responsibilities Support all due diligence, modeling and relating analysis leading up to investor meeting and capital markets transactions, including the prospective IPO Assist with strategic planning by researching, analyzing, and modeling the viability of new and prospective initiatives. Develop long-term scenario modeling to determine the profitability impact related to software (SaaS) pricing, new releases, etc. Partner with FP&A team to review budgets, forecasts and short/long-term financial projections for planning and reporting purposes. Develop financial models to assess M&A opportunities and conduct/coordinate financial diligence of potential transactions. Prepare ad-hoc analysis for outside investors, executive team and the Board Experience 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, financial consulting or a related capacity Extensive exposure to the TMT vertical, ideally with a working knowledge of a SaaS revenue model Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field Well-versed in modeling for capital markets and fundraising activities in a late-stage venture Ability to convey strategic and financial messages in written materials, presentations, financial models and data analysis Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.
