Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager - Venture Capital & Growth Fund, Global Hedge Fund
A large global hedge fund with multi-billion dollar AUM is seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Specialist to lead capital raising and investor engagement for its first external venture capital vehicle, with plans for future vintages and adjacent strategies. This is a rare opportunity to define the go-to-market approach for a new VC platform within a well-established, institutional investment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts, from outreach to closing, while managing the investor pipeline and CRM
Build and maintain relationships with prospective LPs and communicate the fund’s strategy and positioning
Develop and maintain marketing materials, investor presentations, and data rooms
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment across fundraising activities
Provide regular insights on market activity, competitor behavior, and investor feedback to senior leadership
Qualifications:
Senior experience in VC fundraising or IR, either in-house or at a placement agent
Strong understanding of venture capital, private markets, and fund structures
Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; detail-oriented and highly organized
