The Systems Technician will assemble and machine metal products, such as sprinkler frames of all types, partially or completely. The technician will also perform testing of assembled sprinkler frames, including inspecting and packaging. The technician will work in a cell environment on the shop floor by performing the following duties.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
SYSTEM TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates automated assembly and C.N.C machining Equipment according to Supervisors direction. Rotates throughout the assembly and C.N.C machining process and assist each member of the cell when needed. Performs all aspects of the cell including maintenance to optimize and maintain optimum production. Handles and pulls any materials necessary for the cell. Test sprinklers according to approval laboratory guide lines. Sets up, adjust and qualify C.N.C equipment and perform all aspects Inspect and package sprinklers to Viking quality standards. Complete all necessary documents for both the Quality system and for production planning. Disassembles sprinklers and its components for salvage of parts. Identify scrap and salvage and record such for inventory purposes. Clean and maintain cell on a daily basis. Perform other duties as assigned. SYSTEM TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
