Senior OpenShift Engineer and Technical Consultant , you will serve as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert (SME) for our partners, customers, and service providers, specifically focusing on Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA) and OpenShift Virtualization. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and leading client solutions, mentoring fellow engineers, and driving innovation within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement complex, mission-critical enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift solutions centered around ROSA and OpenShift Virtualization. Create and present high-quality deliverables and technical roadmaps to client engineering teams and senior leadership. Develop and lead ROSA enablement in areas such as networking, storage, identity integration, and platform security, with a focus on Kubernetes Networking and AWS services. Establish and implement CI/CD solutions using tools like ArgoCD to enable GitOps-driven workflows. Mentor and guide project teammates, fostering skill development in technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, ROSA, and related tools. Actively collaborate within technical communities to drive innovation in OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes Networking, and AWS. (Optional) Leverage expertise in VMware, Ansible, Terraform, Portworx, and NetApp to enhance platform capabilities. Qualifications: Ability to engage with customers directly, developing solutions for business and technology challenges. Strong knowledge of cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, microservices, and containers. Hands-on programming experience, primarily in Python or other programming languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Minimum of 6 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in Cloud, DevOps, or digital transformation roles. Experience designing and implementing core platform services related to compute, storage, networking, and security. Possession of multiple relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.). Familiarity with the organizational adoption of transformation initiatives such as Platform Engineering and Cloud Transformation. Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and deployment services such as GitHub and Jenkins. Familiarity with both Windows Server and Linux operating system environments.
