Achieve an understanding of the agency mission, strategic focus areas, and overall goals, and contribute to their success. Oversee wrap-around case management services for families in need, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to individual requirements. Assist and supervise all aspects of Community Service Program Management including orientations, volunteer site tracking and follow-up, recruitment of community service volunteer sites, supervision of youth, and ensuring all requirements are met. Support volunteer stewardship and develop strategies to grow the volunteer base, including recruitment and engagement campaigns. Receive referrals for restorative conferencing from various agencies. Coordinate restorative conferences and provide specialized services to youth and families through structured case management and referrals. Facilitate curriculum sessions for youth based on their needs and Accountability Agreements. Meet with youth and their families in various settings to establish trust, assess needs, and assist in accessing services. Establish and maintain a community referral network. Maintain program integrity through confidentiality, timely reporting, and quality service delivery. Assess clients' needs, strengths, and support networks to determine goals. Perform other work as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Considerable knowledge of human services programs, policies, procedures, and regulations; youth welfare programs; family law; and justice-involved youth resources. Skills in administration, program planning, data management, conflict resolution, public speaking, report writing, communication, customer service, and basic computer skills. Proven ability to work with diverse populations, manage priorities, interpret policies, problem-solve, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Minimum Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field preferred. Two years of experience in a human service field. Equivalent training and experience may be considered. Knowledge of Restorative Justice/Practices is a plus. Licensing and Certifications:
Training in evidence-based services. Valid Virginia Driver's License within 30 days of hire, with a satisfactory driving record (no more than 6 demerit points in one year, and no recent DWI/DUI convictions). Work may involve travel, exposure to hazardous conditions, fumes, noise, and environmental hazards. Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The role requires multitasking, communication, and physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Some travel may be necessary.
