Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Calm Seas Psychotherapy, LCSW, PLLC. As an LCSW, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing individual, group, and family counseling to members of the first responder community. This is a full-time remote position. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients within the first responder community.- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual client goals and needs.- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family counseling, to address a wide range of mental health concerns.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.- Participate in regular clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.- Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and relevant state licensing boards.- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for clients, promoting their overall well-being and resilience.Requirements:- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.- Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New York or eligible.- Experience providing counseling services to individuals, groups, and families, preferably within the first responder community.- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional development.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.- Respect for cultural diversity and a commitment to providing inclusive and culturally responsive care.- Strict adherence to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries.Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.If you are a dedicated and compassionate LCSW looking to make a positive impact in the lives of first responders, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
