Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full-time material handler in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Warehouse positions pay weekly with hourly pay of $20.00 per hour plus overtime pay of $30.00 per hour. Additional pay includes a $2.50 shift premium for third shift, which is from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The schedule includes every other weekend off, following a 2-2-3 pattern. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. The material handler will work in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment. Products being handled include paper products, and equipment includes the sit down forklift and barrel clamp forklift. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience, a valid forklift operator's license, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, ability to create and maintain professional relationships, ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, and ability to stand for long periods of time. Responsibilities include performing warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. The material handler will also be responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks. They will also deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment and provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system.
