Position Overview QinetiQ US seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support a large program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment and communication skills, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and have experience explaining complex technical concepts clearly to federal clients. Location:
Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of assigned programs/projects to ensure technical, schedule, and budget compliance. Lead interdisciplinary teams and serve as the primary interface with customers, subcontractors, and third parties. Control expenditures, report monthly performance, and create forecasts using ETC processes. Support administrative documentation for subcontractor execution, procurement, and finance. Provide input for financial and technical briefings to senior management via PMRs. Coordinate logistics for CAP and GFE in support of mission activities. Create and track purchase requisitions for materials and subcontractors. Develop program resource plans and manage program resources. Generate and deliver weekly status reports, CDRLs, PMRs, and other updates. Attend technical meetings, record actions, and update the Senior Program Manager. Support business development opportunities. Contribute to company sales, profit, and growth objectives. Required Qualifications B.S. in business, technical, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience with 15+ years of experience, or Master’s degree and PMP certification. 10+ years of experience with federal customers in program, operations, or technical leadership roles. Strong organizational, communication, and technical explanation skills. Customer management experience, capable of managing complex technical programs. Ability to translate customer needs into scope and requirements. Experience with estimating duration and cost with subject matter experts. Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Deltek CostPoint or similar systems. Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with discretion and confidentiality skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Security Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance. Background investigation required. Must be U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal homeland security and law enforcement clients. Certified Project Manager or experience in project management best practices. Leadership in collaborative team environments. Experience with risk management systems. At least five years leading large teams for federal clients. Data visualization and dashboarding skills.
