Restoration Technician Job Summary Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the companys obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.
Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or GED). Mathematical Skills:
Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units. Computer Skills:
Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. 1 year of restoration experience preferred,
and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.) Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)
Water Restoration Technician (WRT) *preferred but not required Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) *preferred but not required Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) *preferred but not required Advanced Structural Drying (ASD) *preferred but not required Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup Technician (TCST) *preferred but not required Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician (FSRT) *preferred but not required

Restoration Technician
Responsibilities Effectively perform Restoration services the company offers (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold remediation, trauma and crime scene cleanup, fire and smoke remediation and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate) Complete appropriate restoration documentation and authorizations. Communicate effectively with customers. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Perform basic vehicle maintenance. Inspect completed work. Complete the technicians daily log. Complete Work Orders. Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles. Maintain inventory of related supplies. Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry. Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
