Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Sr SharePoint Developer located in St Paul, MN, with some work from home being acceptable. The Sr SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions. Daily tasks include developing custom web parts, workflows, and features using SharePoint Designer, as well as managing and administering SharePoint environments. The role also involves creating and managing InfoPath forms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions. Lead technical work within the SharePoint development unit and staff. Monitor and be accountable for the overall health of MNIT at DCYF and DCYF SharePoint system, services and settings to ensure performance and operational effectiveness, including the management of system controls, security and functionality Ensure the overall health of MNIT at DCYF and DCYF SharePoint site collections and sites, while providing lead technical design, administration, and lead development. Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of the SharePoint architecture, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath Designer. Strong background in web development, including programming languages, standards, and development tools. Strong technical understanding of Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL, .NET, and Microsoft Active Directory. Strong understanding and ability to develop web services in a .NET environment. Qualifications SharePoint lead experience with at least 12 years of experience. Lead a SharePoint development team Proficiency in SharePoint and SharePoint Designer Experience in SharePoint Administration and managing environments Strong skills in developing solutions with InfoPath Background in .net, Powershell, SQL Server Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience with other Microsoft technologies and platforms is a plus Seniority level
