Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $17/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Forklift Operator for a company in Waverly, IA. This is an associate to hire role. Professionalism and experience is a requirement.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manually pick ingredients for orders and weigh the product out to the desired amount
- Palletize all ingredients needed for order and deliver by pallet jack to the work station
- Clean up working station using portable hose filled with soap and water
- Pick ingredients according to production batch sheet
- Weigh ingredients accurately
- Mix and blend ingredients following instructions in a safer manner
- Handle equipment for mixing/blending in a safe manner and according to requirements
- Handle all raw materials in a hygienic and food safe manner (opening containers, weighing, pouring, closing containers)
- Pack out product in correct packaging types
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds
- 3-5 years of consistent/recent forklift experience in employment setting.
