MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF RECENT FITTING EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is looking for a Bilingual Fitter to join manufacturing company in North Houston!
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Occasional Saturday's)
Fitter Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent welding pipes CH40, Sch 40 and fitting experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings Experience with MIG and TIG welding (carbon and stainless steel) Proven experience working as a fitter Must be bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Able to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares) accurately Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods Prior experience in roles such as Structural Welder, Steel Fabricator, Metal Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker, Welder, or Fabricator Welder is a strong plus

Welder Helper Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints for mechanical systems to determine component specifications Construct structural components from raw materials Use welding equipment to fuse structural components Operate tools such as shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut materials as needed Replace damaged or defective structural components when necessary Follow all work-site safety protocols and regulations Smooth out rough surfaces on fabricated components using grinders, hand files, and scrapers Collaborate with other fitters on large-scale or complex projects.
