We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated scientist to join the neuroinflammation team in Type 2 inflammation cluster, focused on discovering, validating, and developing therapies for Type 2 inflammation diseases including Asthma and COPD. This position is laboratory-based and will involve executing experiments to identify and test new therapeutics in vitro . The successful candidate will have experience working in peripheral nervous system (PNS) and/or muscle in an academic or industry setting, with experience and the ability to perform cell culture-based experiments using iPSC-derived neurons and/or primary muscle cells. Execute experiments, analyze data, and clearly communicate results at internal and external meetings.
* Interact in a matrixed, dynamic and cross-functional manner across the Immunology & Inflammation Therapeutic Area and research platforms.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in biology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, health sciences, or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027
* Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship (UNLESS REMOTE OR PARTIME FALL OR SPRING COOP)
* S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
