We are seeking a curious and driven student to join the Immunology and Inflammation Research Therapeutic Area as a co-op. Working with our Type 2 Inflammation team, youll assist in exploring novel immune pathways and mechanisms relevant to chronic inflammatory diseases. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to early-stage drug discovery in a scientifically rigorous and supportive environment. Youll have the opportunity to work on a variety of experimental approaches using Sanofis state-of-the-art platforms. With guidance from experienced scientists, you will support the design and execution of in vitro assays and assist in data analysis to help identify and characterize new therapeutic targets. Ready to get started? Main Responsibilities Contribute to hypothesis-driven research projects, with support from mentors and scientific staff
Perform cell-based and molecular assays to investigate immune pathways in mouse and human systems
Assist in the development and optimization of in vitro models and exploratory assays
Analyze experimental data and contribute to internal presentations and discussions
Collaborate across functions with other research teams and participate in lab meetings
Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and adhere to all safety protocols
About You Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology, or a related field for the term of the co-op (Winter/Fall term, Jan 2026 May 2026)
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience in a lab setting (academic or industry); familiarity with techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, or cell culture
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment
Eagerness to learn new techniques, ask questions, and contribute to a dynamic scientific team
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to single-cell analysis or omics technologies
Interest in immunological mechanisms and translational research
Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., FlowJo, GraphPad, R) is a plus
