Job Summary: The Senior Workers Compensation Analyst will play a key role in developing and managing employee health programs in alignment with company strategies. You will oversee workplace injuries and exposures, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and actively participate in new employee orientations. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and refine procedures aimed at preventing incidents related to chemical, physical, and biohazard risks; educate supervisors and employees on safety measures. Oversee Worker's Compensation claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring compliance and efficient management. Collaborate with the EHS Manager/Specialist to thoroughly review and investigate all employee injuries and exposures; formulate strategic action plans to minimize incident rates. Provide post-exposure treatment as per established protocols. Develop and execute comprehensive pre-employment health assessments, coordinating closely with HR for seamless integration into the selection and orientation processes. Assist in conducting training sessions as needed by the EHS Manager. Create and implement ongoing education initiatives to elevate employee awareness and reduce workplace incidents. Administer emergency medical treatment as necessary, including injections and CPR. Manage laboratory-initiated health programs like vaccinations. Keep confidential health records for employees requiring special considerations during emergencies, ensuring ready access to vital information. Prepare management reports detailing activities and initiatives as requested. Act as a reliable source of information on biohazard exposures and overall safety, promoting a healthier lifestyle among employees. Participate as a key member of the company's Safety Committee. Train and recertify security personnel and staff in first aid and basic life support techniques. Maintain necessary medical equipment, supplies, and certifications. Execute additional duties as assigned by management. Skills & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience managing Worker's Compensation claims is essential, with preference for candidates familiar with California regulations. Strong organizational and planning skills for effective program implementation. Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency situations. Exceptional coordination skills to facilitate inter-departmental collaboration. Attention to detail in maintaining accurate logs and confidential records.
