Compensation:
$24 - $27, depending on experience and bilingual skills.

For nearly 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been dedicated to providing safe spaces for Bellevue's youth outside of school hours. We focus on serving neighborhoods with the greatest need, ensuring equitable access to life-enhancing programs centered on academics, health, and leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The After School Teen Program Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a vibrant, safe, and supportive space for middle and high school youth. Through Project Learn and Teen Drop-In programming, the Program Coordinator supports academic success, creative exploration, and positive social development. In collaboration with the Unit Director, this role helps plan, deliver, and evaluate teen programs while cultivating strong relationships with youth, families, and community partners.
This position is best suited for someone who brings professionalism and maturity to an energetic, teen-centered environment. Deliver engaging after-school programming in core focus areas, including academics, creative arts, health, leadership, and recreation. Facilitate Project Learn and Teen Drop-In activities, including homework help, tutoring, mentorship, social opportunities, and structured enrichment. Lead programming in the Swire Coca-Cola Makerspace, promoting creativity, innovation, and technical skill development while ensuring safe and responsible use of equipment. Coordinate grant-funded initiatives to ensure compliance with grant requirements and effective implementation. Assist with Teen Center operations, including space setup, youth supervision, daily activity support, and resource management. Provide administrative support to Unit Directors to improve program delivery, maintain documentation, and assess program outcomes. Provide direct support to Teen Center members and assist other Club programs with expertise and resources. Participate in ongoing training and professional development by attending BGCB training sessions. These responsibilities do not fully encapsulate the scope of the role. You may be asked to perform tasks not listed here and to provide coverage at other sites occasionally to maintain staff-to-youth ratios.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred). Minimum of two years' experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar setting, planning and supervising youth development programs (preferred). Experience working with middle and high school youth. Proven background in mentorship or informal learning environments, particularly with underserved communities. Ability to build meaningful relationships with youth, families, and community partners. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Collaborative approach and team-oriented mindset. Must be at least 21 years old. Must pass a National Background Check and Driving Record Check. BENEFITS:
