Duties include creating new application features using PHP, investigating reported issues and determining methods to fix them, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining new and existing code. Work with customers and customer support to identify bugs in the system and detail the specifications of feature requests. Document bugs and develop and test fixes. Collaborate with management and other project stakeholders on specifications for new feature requests. Telecommuting is permitted. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 1 year of related experience. Requires 1 year of experience in all of the following: web development; PHP development; JavaScript; MySQL database; and code unit testing. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus knowledge of the below concepts, which may be demonstrated through prior work experience with these concepts, or through academic coursework at the Master's or higher level involving these concepts: web development; PHP development; JavaScript; MySQL database; and code unit testing. Telecommuting is permitted.
