PI Specialist (RN)- Trauma
Position Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) who works collaboratively with the Trauma Program leadership team on clinical components of the trauma program. The Clinical Quality Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day performance improvement initiatives surrounding trauma patients and assuring PI compliance with the State and or American College of Surgeons' criteria for a Trauma Center. The Specialist is responsible for driving improvement in patient safety and quality, and operational efficiency by leading project teams that include the frontline staff, physicians, and members of the leadership team. Also, responsible for implementation and tracking metrics that are aligned with operations.
PI Specialist (RN)- Trauma Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related Bachelor's Degree in a health care field. Master's degree preferred. TCRN or CEN preferred Licensed as a Registered Nurse to in state of residency Completion of Lean/DMAIC project leader training, Green Belt or equivalent within the first 12 months of hire into position. At least three (3) years as a staff nurse in acute care nursing, preferably in Emergency Nursing. Project management experience is preferred. Two (2) years of performance improvement experience Experience with Microsoft applications Experience using data analytics tools (Minitab, SPSS or equivalent program) PI Specialist (RN)- Trauma Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. Salary range:$83,428.80-$133,494.40 Commensurate with experience
