Apex Systems is seeking Manufacturing Planners to support the Production Engineering Program for the U.S. Government. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation and strategies that align with production and business objectives. Key responsibilities include: developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and visual aids to document as-built configurations; creating and refining manufacturing strategies to support program goals; integrating suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technologies to meet production and delivery requirements; reviewing and approving supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards; defining and managing tooling requirements from design through end-of-use disposition; investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues; conducting producibility assessments for parts and product designs; providing input to improve design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule targets; developing integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments; and drafting, updating, and reviewing procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements. Work under general direction with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration. Required qualifications include: an Associates degree with 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; previous Boeing experience required; familiarity with MESci Work Instructions or Boeing Defense Programs such as P-8, KC-46 Tanker, or VC-25B is highly preferred; strong understanding of manufacturing planning, tooling, and producibility assessments; and excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
