We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. Brewster, NY Travel Requirement:
100% Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients Qualifications: 6 months experience in long-term care: training provided for new graduates DEA License CPR BCLS/BLS certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing Completed degree from an accredited program A year of experience in cardiology Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC etc.): training provided Must have great organizational and time management skills Salary Range:
