Published 07.11.2025 Job Description Summary/Objective: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Lead to join our aeronautics supply chain team. This role involves coordinating the activities of Supplier Quality Engineers, New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineers, and Supplier Performance Managers to ensure seamless operations and high-quality outcomes. Requirements include but are not limited to the following: Coordination: Oversee and align the actions of Supplier Quality Engineers, NPI Engineers, and Supplier Performance Managers to achieve operational goals. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, both in the US and in France. Scope of Work: Define the scope of work for team activities by identifying and discussing needs with the customer, and the Center of Excellence based in France. Translate customer requirements into actionable plans to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Other duties as assigned. Workload Analysis and Staffing: Analyze team workload to identify capacity needs and optimize resource allocation. Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational requirements and project demands. Collaborate with HR and senior management to recruit and onboard new talent when necessary. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Define and track KPIs in a dashboard in alignment with the workload analysis and identified work scope. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and continual improvement. Supply Chain Continuity: Ensure there is no disruption in the supply chain by proactively addressing risks and maintaining operational flow. Collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve issues promptly and sustain delivery/quality timelines. Lead or support initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier performance and overall supply chain effectiveness. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the supply chain. Performance Reviews: Participate in annual performance evaluations for team members. Contribute to the performance evaluations of Supplier Performance Managers by providing feedback and insights based on team collaboration and results. Steering Committee Participation: Actively contribute to the site's Steering Committee by providing insights and recommendations. Assist in shaping strategic decisions to drive organizational success. Decision-Making: Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and implement key decisions impacting the supply chain. Provide data-driven insights to support informed decision-making. Job Requirements Required Education: Minimum: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Supply-chain management, Industrial management, or Operations management Successful past supplier relationship experience English native or close to native to communicate with suppliers French language skill and knowledge of the French culture considered as a plus Previous experience leading a team considered a plus But what else? Preferred: 5+ years in supply-chain, project management or operations in Aerospace Industry.
