A medical cannabis dispensary in Fairfax, VA is seeking a
Per Diem Retail Pharmacist

Position Details
Setting: Cannabis Dispensary Job Type: PRN / Per Diem Location: Fairfax, VA 22030 Start Date: ASAP Pharmacy Hours: Monday Saturday: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM Coverage Needed: Primarily weekends (Friday Sunday); flexible PRN schedule
Key Responsibilities
Conduct over-the-phone and in-person consultations with patients and caregivers Educate patients and staff on cannabis products, dosing, effects, potency, consumption methods, and administration Assist with compliant, safe, and accurate product selection and dispensing Support onboarding and training of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians Perform standard retail pharmacist duties
Required Qualifications
Active Virginia Pharmacist License in good standing Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience Flexible and willing to be on-call as needed Comfortable working in a developing and highly regulated environment
Preferred Skills (Required To Apply)
Experience with Metrc or similar inventory tracking systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly Prior experience in the cannabis industry is a plus
Training Provided
In-depth training on systems and cannabis product knowledge will be provided prior to independent shifts
