Position Overview: As a senior project manager at Henderson Engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to our six market sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. Within each sector, we seamlessly integrate our engineering knowledge with the in-the-field experience of our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, to deliver a client experience unlike any other in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and client experience.
- Manage the development of project proposals, contracts, and project budgets.
- Plan and coordinate project deliverables, delegating as needed.
- Manage client service and project communication, maintaining proactive communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
- Responsible for overall project performance.
- Manage and develop program contracts and project fee matrices.
- Define and manage project quality expectations.
- Ensure deliverables meet project objectives and quality expectations.
- Develop the scope of work and fees for complex projects to mitigate risk throughout the project life cycle.
- Serve as the primary project/program contact and brand ambassador.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and sub-consultants to ensure satisfaction with the project process and engineering work product.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve project-related conflict, balancing the interests of internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with sector and practice leadership to create and support business development strategies within their sector or practice.
- Direct the activities of project/program team members and oversee less experienced Project Managers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred. 4 years of relevant experience within the AEC or Professional Services industry will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
- 14 years of relevant experience required, including at least 10 years cumulative of project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in project management standards and execution required.
- Advanced knowledge and application of building design and construction principles required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Revit, CAD, and/or Bluebeam.
- Project management certification preferred.
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license preferred.

Salary ranges:
New York Salary Range: $129,722 $194,583
Los Angeles Salary Range: $123,342 - $185,014
Denver Salary Range: $116,963 - $175,444
Philadelphia Salary Range: $116,963 - $175,444
Las Vegas Salary Range: $111,646 - $167,469
